I’m a wife, a mom and I love Jesus. We live a primitive lifestyle and most days you will find us either sitting by the warmth of our wood stove, swimming in our spring fed pond, hiking or traveling somewhere fun. We have chickens, ducks, horses, dogs, and a cat. If you ask us what our favorite TV show is, we couldn’t tell you because we haven’t watched TV in over 10 years. Our television is mostly for looks - Ha!
My heart is drawn to the timeless aesthetic of film. While I studied film photography through high school and college, my love for film began as a child. I spent countless hours with my grandpa, who was hobby film photographer, and I started using my very own film camera at 13 years old. When I finally had my chance to develop my own images in the darkroom, I was hooked for life. Fast-forward 20 years, I now focus on primarily portrait photography, utilizing a blend of medium format, 35 mm and DLSR. My passion is serving clients who are looking for a fine art aesthetic and love a timeless, artful look for their wedding or family portraits. We love traveling, which makes destination weddings or portrait sessions our favorite.
